Motor to Music with EKCO CAR RADIO

Specification

RECEIVER. 7 stage superhet with five specially made Car Radio Valves. Compensated automatic volume control and inter-station noise suppressor, dual-wave reception (200/550 metres and 800/2000 metres); tone control; non-directional. Full vision non-dazzle scale marked with station names and wavelengths. Light-beam and shadow-pointer tuning giving accurate reading when seen from any angle. Direct control for driver or passenger.

SPEAKER. Moving coil speaker for independent fitting giving 4 watts undistorted output.

POWER UNIT. Independent rotary power supply unit—entirely automatic in operation. No extra batteries required.

SUPPRESSION EQUIPMENT. Complete filter equipment, for entirely eliminating interference caused by windscreen wiper, petrol pump, spark plugs, magneto, electric horn and any other electrical fittings.

PRICE. 20 guineas. Installation extra. (Full schedule of standard installation charges, from 35/-, available on request).

All installations are carried out, under the supervision of the manufacturers, at local centres by mechanics specially trained at Ekco Works.
