We make the following comments on this car:-

(1) High pitch brake squeaks were experienced on several occasions.
(2) The squeaks from the oil seals in the rear axle were so annoying that we think these should be removed.
(3) There is a bad timing gear rattle.
(4) The valve gear is noisy.
(5) The car misses on the pick-up at low speeds.
(6) The new ventilators seem quite effective, but there is so much wind noises from them that at the moment they are quite impossible. This matter is being investigated.
(7) Water pump gland leaks.

We appreciate that a number of the faults are due to obsolete parts, but we should be interested to know what caused the missing on the pick-up. Also, we consider that the brake squeaks are a serious matter, and should like to know whether the tipping shoes on the front are in action, and also whether the squeaks are from the front brakes.
