TO HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} x204 EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}2/I6.I.34. RE GREEN SALOON. BENTLEY. 3.B.4. London inform me that should you wish not to rebuild the body which was partly destroyed by fire but to build a new one the Insurance Company will always agree to make a payment equal to the cost of repairing the damage. This is in some cases greater than the cost of a completely new article. If you agree we suggest that we have the body at Messrs Park Ward & Co. Works and ask them to assess the cost of repairs before we decide any course of action. I shall be in Derby on Thursday and will see you about this matter. We are very anxious to build a new body to try out several improvements which we have in mind and feel that this would be an opportunity. | ||
