Minute No.
1. Lower Floor on P.II.
Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} enquired whether this feature could be adopted in a reasonably short time and in any case for the next Olympia show.
Byl4/C.5.12.33. was read by Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} and it was agreed that Hy{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}'s suggestions in this memo be worked to. This will enable the lower floor to be ready for next Olympia.
It was decided that 22-EX should be fitted up with the necessary new parts for 10,000 miles test.
2. Automatically adjusted tappets.
Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} stated that another urgent requirement on P.II. is the automatically adjusted tappets with a view to improving the silence and a special effort is to be made to introduce this modification at an early date.
3. Automatically Controlled Shock Dampers.
It was agreed that the automatically controlled shock dampers would be introduced from 162-PY onwards.
4. Extra Quantity of 20/25 Chassis.
It was agreed in order to provide work for the machines at what is normally a 'slackening off' period that an extra 40 chassis be produced at the convenience of the Works and Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} estimated that these extra 40 chassis could commence to be delivered at the rate of 5 per week from the first week in March.
