Dear Mr. Worth,

With reference to the difficulty you are having with your 20 HP. with regard to skidding.

As we pointed out to you verbally, on the modern tarred road the non-skid pattern of the tyre largely controls the tendency of a car to skid. With the present Dunlop tyre the tread is so proportioned that for half the effective life of the tyre its non-skidding properties are very small.

We have taken the matter up with Messrs. Dunlop and they state that they will re-tread any partially worn tyres you have which will be considerably cheaper than purchasing a new tyre.

Messrs. Dunlop can be relied upon to make a satisfactory re-tread as long as the tyre is sound when they receive it and we recommend them in preference to any other firm.

When the tyres are sent to them, a covering note addressed to Mr. Paull, Development Dept. Director will ensure their receiving prompt attention.

Yours faithfully,
