Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
Derby.

Dear Sirs,

Referring to your letter of the 6th inst. and to recent telephone conversations we now have pleasure in enclosing as requested 6 rocker blocks made from our Carp Brand Tufnol and machined exactly in accordance with your Sketch E.1171.

If, as we assume, the one edge has been extended to preserve strength at that point, it may be that a buttress type of edge similar to rocker heels we supply to other leading magneto manufacturers would be more suitable for the purpose you have in mind, consequently we are enclosing as an alternative 6 of this type.

If we have not correctly interpreted your requirements perhaps you will give us a ring on the telephone in the morning.

Meanwhile, we are dear Sirs,

Yours faithfully,

For ELLISON INSULATIONS LTD.,
