PN{Mr Northey}1/DN/25.6.21.

In view of the importance of establishing any characteristic differences in performance between the car you have fitted with the 14-tooth axle, and what is accepted as being a good example of our production, that is, our Open Trials Car - Chassis 81-TW - I am arranging, as proposed by you, to bring this car to the Works, on Tuesday next and return with it to London on Thursday, in order that we may have an opportunity of making comparative tests on your standard hills &c. and for acceleration, with the cars ballasted evenly.
