BJ3/H29.6.21.

A trial was made in London yesterday of a closed car with 15-tooth axle and medium compression. The test was made by C.J., P.N. and B.J., and it was agreed that all closed cars should in future be delivered with medium compression engines. It is understood that they will all be fitted with 15-tooth axles.

Closed cars which are returned to the Works to have a 16-tooth back axle replaced by a lower-geared axle can also be fitted with medium compression engines.
