SIDE SPARE WHEEL CARRIER

Thank you for OY6/DW17630.

We do not use the tyre well to square up the wheel.

It has always been assumed that the conical aluminium distance piece would square itself up in the conical part of the hub.

We do not like the suggestion on SK.400., as when putting the wheel in position there will be nothing to hold thedistance piece in. At present the cone wedges it in. If it is feared that the cone will not square itself up properly in the hub we think it should be made say twice or 3 times the length.

Would Derby kindly arrange to give us their views on this, and if necessary to elongate the cone as we suggest.
