Dear Sirs, We duly received your letter of the 6th inst. regarding the Relief Valve Bellows Assemblies which we supplied to your drawing F.100692, and must apologise for the delay in acknowledging this but we have been looking carefully into your requirements. In the first place we would like to respectfully point out that these Bellows are not designed or intended to work as springs and whilst they have a certain amount of flexibility and will stand 30 lbs. oil pressure without distortion, we would point out that your original sketch dated by your Print Room 29th September, 1932, shows the Bellows Assembly fitted to a housing in which the oil is supplied internally under pressure. This pressure is opposed by means of a spring which, as the oil pressure is realised, closes the Bellows, and we take it that you | ||
