Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd.,

are working under similar conditions and, therefore, the Bellows Assembly does not have to rely upon the natural resilience of the Bellows themselves, as the necessary movement is obtained in either direction by the oil pressure opposed by a spring; the Bellows being fitted merely for sealing purposes and as a flexible assembly to give the required movement without packing glands.

We are preparing a further Assembly made up on the lines suggested in your letter with a plain flat disc one end and a circular ring at the other end which will be fitted with a different designed Bellows, and we trust that you will find this meets with your approval.

Assuring you of our best attention.

We are,

Yours faithfully,
