To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} x204 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Smth.16/KW.13.12.34. Supercharged Unit - B-12. The gear drive to this unit is still very noisy at low speeds and we think that this can be improved by increasing the flexibility of the drives. We wish to try two standard Hardy couplings in place of the "Layrub" couplings which are at present between the dynamo and the blower. We understand that the bits for this arrangement have already been detailed and should like you to fit them. These will only be used for low speed running. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Smth. | ||
