Guy VSA Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}9/JH. 21st October, 1936. The Wilcox Rich Corporation, Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of 9th October, in which we were informed that you are now in a position to make parts in XALOY. We are still very interested in obtaining the sock damper lever bushes, as mentioned in our letter of 25th January, as we have not yet found a material with suitable wearing properties. We are also hoping to hear from Mr. Gardner on the question of this material having Austenitic properties. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
