Attention of Mr. S. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Grylls

Gentlemen:

With reference to your letter of January 28, 1936 to Mr. Walter Brown regarding the possibility of casting XALOY as a liner on your shock damper lever bushes F-100879 and F-85059. Shortly after your letter was written, Mr. Brown, in conjunction with the Industrial Research Laboratories, Ltd. of Los Angeles, licensed our company for the exclusive use of XALOY outside of the oil well field. A considerable amount of time was necessary in working out details of the contract and equipping our plant to handle this material. However, in the last few weeks we have completed the necessary equipment and are ready to furnish samples.

Owing to the fact that so much time has elapsed, the question has come up as to your interest at this time in samples made to the prints you submitted in January. If you are of the opinion that these will still be useful, we will be very glad to make samples for you if you will so advise us.

With reference to your question on cylinder liners, our Mr. A.{Mr Adams} D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} Gardner is in charge of that work and he will very likely communicate with you direct.

Very truly yours,
WILCOX-RICH CORPORATION
