Phantom II - English Built

There have come into us at Long Island Service Station two or three right-hand drive Phantom II chassis to cure over-oiling.

Details as to each of these will come through the Maintenance Department, and Mr. Soutter will forward reports to Mr. Wheeler in the regular course, as is our custom; so that the complaint of the customer is receiving prompt attention.

********

I wonder if you have written to Mr. Olley clearly and fully our experience on this question of over-oiling, with regard to the fitting of "perfect circle" piston rings and the result of our experience with "bleeder holes" inserted in the bottom portion of the pistons.

If you have so reported to Mr. Olley, please send me copy here; if not, please give him a very thorough full description of our experience and the truly satisfactory result on all chassis that have been so fitted.

********

All of us feel that it is nothing short of marvelous--our present experience of this question of over-oiling on the Phantom I chassis, compared with the complaints and unsatisfactory experience heretofore existing.
