We have already sent to you LeC.5351 and LeC.5354 showing respectively the front end of the side steering tube and the inner ends of the cross steering tubes for Wraith II having an adjustment, the tube being provided with a screw thread brazed on, following the design of tube for Bentley III to LeC.4349. We now send herewith N.Sch.4965 and N.Sch.4966 showing designs based on the suggestion in RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}2/CB.18.11.36. and Ex.25145. The actual design which will be tested depends upon the result of the cost investigation on various adjustable steering tube joints, being carried out on the designs for Bentley III. If, however, it is necessary to instruct side and cross steering tubes for Wraith II with an adjustment in order to get something on the first cars, we suggest that you should detail and instruct these latest schemes.
