(g) If no bounce up to 4500 r.p.m. try Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}260 springs and E.88707 washers.
(h) Timing gears are higher helix angle as instructed by EJH. who should be got on the job before tackling for quietness as passable for chassis.
(i) Check for leak past oil retainer into the clutch pit.
(j) Check R.R. distributor governor curve.
(k) Tune up generally and give list of complaints if not cured whilst on the bed.
(l) Before finally passing off disconnect test bed oil fitments and connect up general bye-pass filter. Check flow at several speeds and note temp.

Wraith III No.2.

Since curing the oil leak into the clutch pit by fitting of special felts as tested statically, run on bed to see if still O.K.

If O.K. give sketch of actual felt before fitting and when in position in retainer so that instructions can be given for inclusion on all Wraith III units.

If still leaking machine back the spigot to allow crank disc to act as a thrower and again check.

Fit the Duplex downdraught carburettor and try out for distribution power and consumption, against present single carburet or.

Fuel economy tests to be carried out in line with knowledge obtained at Vauxhalls.

No.5 Test Bed.

Phantom III No.3 Unit.

(1) Finish off mearing of the American type of carburettor in conjunction with Fisher.
(2) Disconnect existing Tecalemit filter and leaving old oil in the unit carry out test with an AC filter (bye-pass in a manner we will discuss.
