| 641 A.F.M. PY Run May Can we give Archer some samples of R.A.D.13 to try. RE. WRAITH SERVO We are having a certain amount of trouble with groans from the servo. The trouble occurs after a car has been run for approximately 100 miles and only occurs if the brakes are held hard on until the car comes to a standstill. If the brakes are released slightly as the car comes to a standstill, the groan is not evident. Fitting a new pair of halos to a servo will effect a temporary cure but the groan re-occurs after one to two hundred miles further running has been done with the car. I understand from Mx {John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} that RAD13 material overcomes this trouble. If this is the position and this material is considered satisfactory in other respects, we would suggest that we should change over to this material as soon as possible. LA {L. A. Archer} | ||
