(1) P.II Continental Model. The proposal to improve the Continental model is - (a) High compression head, which we have. (b) Twin carburetters. The modifications to these have been received from W.W. have been detailed and the parts are now being produced in the Pattern Shop and by RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} (c) New type camshaft. W.W. design has been made and tested out in the Test Dept. The design have supplied us with all the parts required for improving the Continental model. (2) Position of the Synchro mesh gearbox. This is waiting for BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} (3) Position of Experimental work with new type exhaust pipes. These exhaust pipes are being made for Phantom I. We have very little trouble with Phantom II. (4) Hydraulic shock absorbers controlled from the driver's seat. We intend to fit these up experimentally. We have no designs to make a finished job. (5) Shock Dampers. New type shock dampers are fitted to the rear of 25-EX. and to the front and rear of the 25 HP. 19-G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} They have been instructed for the second half of "T" Series as standard. (6) 20/25 HP. For 10,000 miles test. Attached herewith a list of features on the 20/25 HP. for 10,000 miles test. new (7) Rivetless bonnets. Two types of these bonnets are being produced.
