Ongoing trouble with knocking shock dampers and proposed solutions.

We have still no scheme to deal with the above trouble, there has been a provisional patent taken out for 'R's scheme of operation by a strong spring link to overcome the high oil pressures at points of change. In the meantime we are having continual trouble with the dampers already delivered and the only way we know we can overcome this is by either changing the pins and links at short intervals or putting a small hole through the valve, and I have been driven to the latter to avoid annoying customers.
