COPY OF LETTER RECEIVED FROM:- THE CHLORIDE ELECTRICAL STORAGE CO, LTD., CLIFTON JUNCTION, NR. MANCHESTER. OUR REF: EGM/VW. Messrs Rolls Royce Ltd., Nightingale Road, DERBY. December 2nd., 1921. Dear Sirs, Starter Batteries - France. We beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter dated November 30th. Ref. Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}12/NJ301121, enclosing copies of correspondence from your Paris House. Judging by this correspondence, you are feeling the want of satisfactory service in France, and to meet this want we propose to move actively. We are writing to our Bordeaux Representative to proceed at once to Biarritz to clear up the trouble reported there with batteries on Rolls Royce cars. We are also instructing him to get in touch with your Paris House personally to co-operate with them in giving service to your Parisian clients. We propose further to send forward immediately to Paris a stock of your standard batteries in order that renewals, replacements and repairs may be dealt with promptly. Our Representative is Mr. Cheyrou, and doubtless you will be good enough to advise your Paris House of our proposals, which we trust will be deemed satisfactory. Very soon we hope to have our own Depot in Paris. Yours faithfully, THE CHLORIDE ELECTRICAL STORAGE CO, LTD., (sgd) E.C. McKinnon, Chief Engineer. N.R. 255A 1000(T) 19.8.21. SSL (O.A) 7942 | ||
