In our letter we stated:- "We regret that we cannot at present say that we are "prepared to consider placing orders with you for batteries, "subject to their being made to a specification that would "meet our requirements. "At the same time, we shall always be pleased to hear "the result of your efforts to produce a satisfactory battery." We are now in receipt of an acknowledgement of our letter, as follows:- "We are interested to have Mr.Clarke's comments "on our previous communication.
