It is interesting to remark in passing that the performance of the sample PHR 7 Chloride battery, in spite of the fact tgat it has about 40% thicker plates than the Lucas 1260 C3 type, put up a slightly better high rate discharge performance than the latter, showing that the difference in these batteries is not merely a question of thicker or thinner plates.

x 979. The tendency of our experimental work has been to show that taking everything into consideration, Chloride and Tudor batteries on this side and the few better American batteries on the other side, cannot be touched by any other batteries made on this side.

Would you care to have a copy of the letter we sent to Messrs. Lucas in which we reported the results of the test of the Lucas 1260 C3 battery ?
