SPECTRECodename for Phantom III CHASSIS.

With reference to the supply of Bottom Half Crankcase Castings made in Magnesium Metal.

Kindly note, the cost of these castings will be £7.10. 0. each. This works out at 7/9d per lb., the approximate weight being 19-1/3 lbs. per casting.

The R.R. Castings were approx. 30 1/2 lbs. each - approx. foundry cost £5.10. 0. per casting.

In the circumstances please advise if we are justified in ordering magnesium castings.
