MOCK-UP B.60 ENGINE PD.439 IN CHASSIS 3.B.50.
FRONT ENGINE SUSPENSION.
Please receive herewith :-
E.CD.1434 Front Mounting for Single Belt B.60 Engine in 3.B.50 Chassis.
The engine support is only intended for use on the mock-up experiment PD.439 and not for a production proposal. For the latter a lighter scheme will be produced.
In order to get in the engine support and its fixing to chassis frame we have had to move the facing on the wheelcase for engine nose bearing.
We have handed an advance print of the design to BY/CS. so that the detail of the wheelcase could be modified at once before the batteries were complete.
Will you please detail and instruct for the experiment.
BA.
