Single Belt B.60 Engine in 3.B.50. car. In order to bring the fan to its correct relationship with the radiator, it has been moved forward from the position shown on PD.439 by 1.675", an aluminium extension piece is used to accomplish this to avoid making a new driving pulley special for this car. The top water connection is very short for dealing with the engine movement, and we have found it necessary to shorten the radiator inlet pipe by about 1.500" to suit. The outlet connection from thermostat housing on engine is also different, EB.4129 now being called for. An advance drawing of the rubberhose E.CD.1438 has already been sent to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/ED.{J. L. Edwards} to enable enquiries to be made re obtaining this as soon as possible. Will you please detail and instruct for chassis 3.B.50. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
