Dear Sir,

RE BUFFER BLOCKS
FOR 20 HP ROLLS ROYCE ENGINE.

We have been carrying out experiments to select a suitable rubber for these blocks and are submitting 4 samples of No. 8 quality which we think will meet your requirements.

You will notice that these blocks are moulded in a manner different from that employed for the standard blocks for the 40 - 50 h.p. engine. This modification has been made in order to give accurate control of the free length of the blocks and should ensure greater regularity than it has been possible to obtain with the other type of moulding.

I shall be glad to have your opinion as to whether this is an improvement or not.

If these blocks are hard enough to fulfil your requirements we shall be pleased to supply a number for your exhaustive test immediately on hearing from you.

Yours faithfully,
FOR THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO .LTD.
