Messrs. Ferodo Limited,
Chapel-en-le-Frith.

Dear Mr. Longley,

Many thanks for our visit last Monday. We were very interested in the automatic brake adjustment you showed us, and should like to try it on our cars. Can you let us know who it is exactly who owns the design so that we could get in touch with them over the patents question. Perhaps we ought not to have seen the pieces.

We shall be trying your S.5805 linings on our next Phantom and 20/25 10,000 miles tests.

As regards a material suitable for the crankshaft damper running in oil, could you send us a dozen discs to our E.55092, and also a dozen 6.575" outside dia. 3.800" inside dia. by .100" thick in RAD.5 material.

Yours sincerely,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
