Second Short Wheelbase
Bentley Body 2.B.5.

We confirm that we instructed you to go ahead with the second body for this chassis, to be an exact replica of 1.B.5. with the exception that advantage should be taken of the new chassis frame. To do this we suggest that you remove from the full size drawing the original chassis frame and draw in the latest one.

It is understood that this body is to be constructed by the method which you propose to use on production for the quantity produced bodies offered to us at £250. We would be glad if you would tell us briefly before the construction commences, what the design consists of.

On this second body, we think the boot lid{A. J. Lidsey} could be cut up about 2" higher.

Third body for
Short Wheelbase
Bentley 3.B.5.

We confirm that we shall require a third body for this chassis, and a small scale drawing of the design will be sent to you in the course of a few days.

Long Wheelbase
Bentley 1.B.50.

As soon as the second dummy chassis for the Short wheelbase Bentley is completed, we will send you instructions telling how you may add 6" to the wheelbase and at the same time supply you with a body design for this longer chassis, to be known as 1.B.50.

The construction of this body is to represent that which you will offer us on production for the £150 body, and we would be glad if you would tell us, as soon as you receive our designs, of what this construction will consist in brief.
