Confirmation of telephone messages of to-day :-

Re Steering Pivots, one 4 1/2 degrees and one 3 degrees wheel pushed on.

The pivot joint can be shortened at the top to bring stub axle central.

Only trouble I can see is difficulty of lubricating the bottom pivot joint without removing wheel " see other suggestions.

Re Lay-out. Make the ball joint well clear of the wheel spokes.

I think it would be slightly advantageous if the wheel were 2 1/2° instead of 3°, and the pivot were 5° instead of 4 1/2°.

This would make it slightly more self-righting and be slightly better for the tyre.

This arrangement so reduces the shocks that I think the cross steering tube with its spheres can remain the old standard dimension.

Stub axle should be put in hand at once 7 1/2 to 8° inclination. Also axle forging.
Steering arms should be nicely round and smooth so that there shall be no over stressed edges.
