Requesting confirmation on the winding specifications for a new Phantom starter motor, including the number of turns and conductor size.

To EFC. from AJS. X7625 AJS7/M5.1.27. c. to EY. We wired you yesterday as follows - "CAN ARRANGE THREE AND A HALF TURNS ON THREE POLES AND THESE TURNS ON FOURTH OF NEW STARTER MOTOR IS THIS OK. STENT" We are anxiously awaiting this information, and should also like to know whether you consider that the size of the conductor for the main field winding will be sufficiently large with the number of turns referred to above, if its section is a .200 square with a .040 radius on the corners. We should be glad if you would give the foregoing your earliest attention as we are endeavouring to get the Phantom starter motor particulars completed. Have received reply to this. AJS. | ||
