Re: Bentley Chassis.

Mr Clarke of Kingsbury has requested me to make enquiries whether you would be agreeable to the Depot here fitting the shells to the con rods. He states that time would be saved in not having to return rods, also, it would be the means of keeping the rods to the original engine. With the present system it is possible for rods which have run 40,000 miles to be fitted to an engine of only 20,000 miles.

Will you please give the matter your careful attention, and let me have your opinion in due course.
