STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS
Description of Parts. NEW TYPE OF SERVO LINING FOR 20/25 & 40/50.
Origin. To improve durability.
Experimental Test Report. This lining Ferodo RAD.13 radially woven asbestos without any brass impregnation, is not so efficient as cotton duck and is slightly more suscetpible to oil but is a much more satisfactory job for mechanical stength.
Road Test Report. Has done 25,000 miles on 25-EX and is running on all expl. cars. The efficiency varies a little with temperature. We recommend that the oil flinging holes in the servo drum are deleted when this lining is standardised.
