Messrs.Rolls-Royce,Limited,
D E R B Y.

For the attention of Mr.Childs.

Dear Sirs,

Confirming our telephone conversation with your Mr.Egnatt this afternoon, we have, as you are aware, delivered to you two LR{Mr Ellor}7 Regulators, non-thermostatic type, mounted on RF50 Boxes, with the setting according to the specification you issued in connection with the B2C J1 Regulator supplied to you at present by Messrs.C.A.V:-Bosch.

We shall be following on with a third LR{Mr Ellor}7, and this is in answer to our Mr.C.E.Robinson's conversation with your Mr.Davis on the subject of regulators, in which we stated that we thought our non-thermostatic type would be more suitable to your requirements.

It is however, intended to make up a further three LRT7, thermostatic type, with settings conforming nearer to the requirements on your specification than the thermostatic regulators you had in the past, and we should be pleased to hear from you in the near future the results of the tests, etc. on both these types of regulators.

We attach herewith a copy of the Laboratory figures regarding the setting of the two LR{Mr Ellor}7's you now have in your possession.

We are,
Yours faithfully,
JOSEPH LUCAS LIMITED.
