Re Mr. Johnson's note to Mr. Platford CJ19/D71211, concerning various points in connection with our chassis, Mr. Johnson had remarked: that many of our cars have noisy engine gears.

The Committee point out that they have experiments proceeding at the present time with various types of engine gears, but such tests are necessarily extremely lengthy in order that we may be sure of our decision.
