X.4210 - "CONNER" C.M.1 MAGNETO. X 430

This magneto is at present undergoing our preliminary bench tests. It is our practice to put each type of magneto through a routine series of bench tests including a short endurance test (12 hours) before putting it on an experimental car. The number of cars available for this purpose is limited, whereas we have a considerable number of magnetos and therefore some weeding out has to be done. In this particular case, however, we think it extremely likely that the magneto will justify its being put on a car. Accordingly this is quite likely to be done within a fortnight's time from now.
