"EAGLE" IX-AERO ENGINE WITH NEW INDUCTION PIPE SYSTEM AND NEW VALVES. -------------------------------------------------- The testing out of this particular design is one of the most important points we have at the moment in connection with aero engine work. A Polar Flight is again in the offing to take place early this year. Further long flights are again being considered, using "Eagle" IX engines. Each of the above proposals we have definitely recommended that the new Induction System and Valves must be fitted. It is therefore of the utmost importance that a hangar test, thoroughly testing out the new parts, should be put in hand with the least possible delay. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} By | ||
