Dear Sirs, With further reference to your favour dated the 23rd.ulto. regarding A.T.Speedometer Head No. F.527. received by you from Messrs.S.Smith & Sons (MA)Ltd., having now had an opportunity of examining this instrument we find that the hand is damaged and bent thus putting the instrument out of balance which the scale error shown in your table reveals on test. We notice you state that the revs.per mile are 784 whereas the actual gearing and timing of the speedometer head gives 787 r.p.m. which we take it will be sufficiently near to meet your requirements. As wired you today this speedometer head has been returned to you by post. Assuring you of our best attention at all times. Yours faithfully, pp. A.T.Speedometer Co.,Ltd., [Signature] [Handwritten note:] H/W list. please notify [Signature] | ||
