Mr Dalley's instruction Sheet 19080 of April 3rd 1914.

Re Over-heating of Exhaust Swan Neck. X. 477.

Will you please instruct for a further three chassis to be rigged up with lagging on the rear swan neck exhaust pipe in accordance with E 3031 tracing herewith. This will require re-issuing as the lagging has been added to drawing recently.

7/4/14

We shall also require 6 off E 4176 Exhaust Pipe Lagging Clips, and I think it would be advisable to obtain one or two clips of the cheaper pattern (Ernest Hill catalogue page 52) for use with a standard bolt and nut.

IMMEDIATE.

Clip now in stores. EM 23/4/14.

Signed. P.H.Dalley.
