We have tried these tyres in London and the impression appears to be that they are as good from the non-skidding point of view as our present tyres; they are very silent, which of course, is useful, but they do appear to be a bit harder than our present tyres at about 25 m.p.h. I think this agrees with your own opinion. We are of the opinion that this hardness is not very bad and I should be glad to know if you see any reason why we should not adopt these tyres as standard, because if we decide not to use them we ought to tell Dunlops pretty quickly. I believe Dunlops' view is that although they are a little bit harder when they are new this soon wears off after use, and they consider they have a much longer life than the present tyres. C. | ||
