Dear Sirs.,

We thank you for your letter dated the 23rd inst, referring to the conversation Mr Tredgold had with Mr Hives, and Mr Tredgold has passed the blue prints to the subscriber, and the matter is being dealt with.

There is one point for which we should be grateful for your further information, and this is as to quantities of forgings upon which we should base our estimate, as, as you know, this question considerably affects the figure arrived at. If you will let us have these details against the four patterns G83289, G83292, G83490 and G83351, we should be pleased to give the information you desire.

Yours faithfully,
FOR THE HUGHES JOHNSON STAMPINGS LTD.

Thos Reynolds
WORKS MANAGER.
