TESTS ON BROOKLANDS.

These tests were undertaken in order to see what increase in actual speed we are likely to get if we make use of the possible developments in Phantom ll engine to increase the power.

From these results we can anticipate what we shall obtain when we have the new H.R. expanding carburetter. The maximum speed recorded over the half mile was 93 M.P.H. In other parts of the track with slightly favourable wind, we got up to 95 M.P.H. With the usual error on the speedometer, one would register round about 100 M.P.H. under favourable conditions of road.
