(2) With one " carburetter. Result. Slow Running: The same in each case - very uneven. Pick Up: (1) is about 20% better than (2). Power: See curve No.1. Distribution: F.T. low speeds (1) Centre cyls. slightly rich. (2) Centre cyls. very rich F.T. high speeds (1) Good distribution. (2) Centre cyls. slightly rich. Test No. 2. Figs. 3 & 4. Standard pipe as Test 1, with single horizontal carburetter - and (1) Round ends (2) Buffer ends. Result. Apart from the fact that (1) is rich on the centre cylinders over the whole range, the results are the same as in Test 1. | ||
