Dear Mr. Hopps, Mr. Hives has shewn me your letter referring to the ignition failure you experienced on the Bentley. The whole affair was most unfortunate but in this instance we may truthfully venture a repetition of the well worn commercial platitude "we have not experienced this trouble before."
