Mr. Bernard Hopps,
C/o Excelsior Hotel Italie,
Florence,
ITALY.

Dear Mr. Hopps,

Mr. Hives has shewn me your letter referring to the ignition failure you experienced on the Bentley.

The whole affair was most unfortunate but in this instance we may truthfully venture a repetition of the well worn commercial platitude "we have not experienced this trouble before."

Our condensers are now made for us by The Telegraph Condenser, Co., and we are taking up the matter with them immediately.

Yours sincerely,

IF UNDELIVERED PLEASE RETURN TO; MESSRS. ROLLS-ROYCE, LTD.
NIGHTINGALE ROAD.
DERBY,
ENGLAND.
