x5080 S/W C1/C1.3.35. Re Modification to 20/25 h.p.Carburettor. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Fm9/KW27.2.35 --------- We are pleased to note the modification you are making on the carburettor, and would like to get this fitted to the Trials cars as soon as possible. Perhaps you will let me know as soon as you can when you could send the necessary parts along. We are particularly interested on the 20/25 h.p. in petrol consumption and note that this modification enables the carburettor to be set weaker. Can you give us any idea what benefit in petrol consumption this will give us, as we have received so many criticisms lately of bad petrol consumption, more particularly from people who have had the earlier cars. From the point of view of hesitation in pick-up, the 40/50 h.p. appears to be at least as bad. I shall be interested to know whether this modification can be adapted to the 40/50 h.p. C. | ||
