Carburetter. --------------------------------- Replying to C.1/C.1.3.35. LA.{L. A. Archer} is arranging to have the Trials cars modified as parts become available, and we anticipate that they should all be fitted up in a fortnight's time. With regard to the 40/50, this modification is not applicable, but on the other hand we do not accept that the 40/50 carburetter ought to hestitate. We have recently dealt with a complaint of this nature in the Experimental Dept. If there is a case available we could go over it at Cricklewood, and possibly indicate how they could overcome the trouble in future.
