Testing and comparison of instruments from Watford and Smiths for the Bensport chassis.

Sidgreaves - MD}1/E.27.6.33., regarding the Watford Instruments for the Bensport chassis. We have now received a pair of instruments completely modified to our specification and we are now having a special modified plate made so that these can be mounted on the existing instrument patch for trial on the chassis. We have bench tested these instruments and they appear to be reasonably accurate and equally as accurate as the A.T.instruments. In an effort to compete with Messrs.Watford, Messrs.Smiths have produced a cheaper type of speedometer which they have submitted to us for test.
