'Re. BENSPORT INSTRUMENTS.

Replying to your Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}1/E.27.6.33., regarding the Watford Instruments for the Bensport chassis.

We have now received a pair of instruments completely modified to our specification and we are now having a special modified plate made so that these can be mounted on the existing instrument patch for trial on the chassis.

We have bench tested these instruments and they appear to be reasonably accurate and equally as accurate as the A.T.instruments.

In an effort to compete with Messrs.Watford, Messrs.Smiths have produced a cheaper type of speedometer which they have submitted to us for test. We are arranging to try these instruments out and report later on their performance.
