-4- HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}14/KM.26.9.35. (18) Composite Brake Drum. Ory, will ring up Longley and accelerate this job which is going too slowly. (19) SpectreCodename for Phantom III back axle tests should be carried out on the Vulture. These are now becoming urgent. (20) 3-B-IV is wanted for Leslie, with Hamilton as an assistant, to clean up the suspension results with the springs shackled at the front. (21) Hall's Bearings for SpectreCodename for Phantom III. We are instructing a set of main and connecting rod bearings for SpectreCodename for Phantom III No.4 Unit. (22) We are expecting Matthews to give us an exact comparison between the large and small bore Bentley engines with exactly the same heads and intake and exhaust systems. Also to complete the tests on the SpectreCodename for Phantom III fully split pistons and the steel skirted S.U. pistons. (23) Bumper Bars. We are not satisfied that the present bumper bar is the best we can do. We want to carry out tests on Lappin's car and on the Vanvooren body, to check over this. Hardy should be responsible for these tests. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
