[Strikethrough: R.S.] FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} ORIGINAL. R3/M13. 1. 25. [Strikethrough: Copy to - CG.] Copy to - HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 20.HP. EXHAUST PIPE. X 4238 The present pipe on 5.Goshawk 2. does not seem to require any alteration. In its present simple form it seems quite satisfactory. This has no damper, and has a simple flange joint to silencer. The only thing I can see is that the final exhaust might be a little more silent, but this specimen has a cutout, and one diaphragm less. I believe perhaps no alteration is needed until we re-arrange the exhaust for more power. R.{Sir Henry Royce} [Stamp: RECEIVED 8 MAY 1932] | ||
