Review of the 20.HP exhaust pipe on the Goshawk 2 engine, concluding no immediate alteration is needed.

The present pipe on 5.Goshawk 2. does not seem to require any alteration. In its present simple form it seems quite satisfactory. This has no damper, and has a simple flange joint to silencer. The only thing I can see is that the final exhaust might be a little more silent, but this specimen has a cutout, and one diaphragm less. I believe perhaps no alteration is needed until we re-arrange the exhaust for more power.
