J 4013. To "Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}" DERBY Showrooms Sr/DnI/ET.19.I.33 Dear "Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}", Re: CHASSIS GMU.10 -Baron de REUTER "Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}", who is laid up at present with the flu, has handed on to me your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/KT.16.I.33, re the above chassis. I have read with interest the comments contained in this memo and, although the body is a standard close coupled saloon, it is more than probable that it is one of the booming type. However, we have had so many complaints from prospective customers about noisy exhausts that we simply must do something. "Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}" suggests that you send us drawings of the new parts and we will make them over here as we fully appreciate that you have no time to build up one of these new silencers for us. Trusting that you can do this, I remain, Yours sincerely, h.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} | ||
